Canning Town has been going through a major regeneration of new residential high rise developments, along with up and coming new food eateries and hotels.

The Royal Victoria Docks, and the dockside ExCeL London centre host many exhibitions and conferences. The cable cars cross the River Thames from the dock to the Greenwich Peninsula. The London City Airport is also within the Borough of Newham and a great connection to Europe and beyond.
